What are SOEC’s?

R&D has led to the opportunity to develop a Solid Oxide Electrolyser Cell that will provide high efficiency green hydrogen production. This will utilize thermal energy to reduce electrical demand.

Based on recommendations from Prof Brandon, we have focused on the development of a SolidOxide Electrolysis Cell (SOEC) in the next 18 months to 2 years for the purpose of producing green hydrogen. This will be followed by a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) development later.
